We Care At Work Program

Paid for by the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties, participating companies will complete the Working Partners Program to develop comprehensive drug-free workplace (DFWP) policies/programs.     Website: https://www.wecarepeople.org/wecareatwork

Mental Health First Aid 

Mental Health First Aid is an in-person training that teaches you how to help people developing a mental illness or in a crisis. Mental Health First Aid is offered as an 8 hour interactive course that presents an overview of mental illnesses and substance use disorders and introduces participants to risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems, builds understanding of their impact, and overviews common treatments.  Website: https://www.wecarepeople.org/mhfa

Community Support Groups

Partnership for Violence Free Families (PVFF) and Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) of America , in connection with the Mental Health Recovery & Services Board of Allen, Auglaize and Hardin Counties has seven support groups, each with facilitators with training certificates for Support Group Facilitation by the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic.  Website: https://www.wecarepeople.org/support-groups

Partnership for Violence Free Families 

The Partnership for Violence Free Families  is a non-profit organization serving Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties.  PVFF was created in 2001 through a grant from the Anthem Foundation of Ohio.  It began as a coalition made up of individuals representing over 50 organizations in Allen County.  PVFF provides education, programming, and resource referral to critical issues.  Partnered with the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties support groups are open to all and are offered free of cost.  PVFF also supports evidence-based programs in each of the prevention focus areas of child abuse, teen dating violence, child sexual assault, problem gambling, mental illness and suicide.  Website: http://www.pvff.org/
