Mobile Produce Market: At a Location Near You

Cookies, candy, and sugary sweets. Who doesn’t love these things? As much as we all love sweets and unhealthy snacks, these things are not good for the health our community. As you may know, Allen County has many food deserts, which means we these areas have low access to fresh affordable produce and other healthy options. One solution to this issue is the Mobile Produce Market, directed by the West Ohio Food Bank.

The mobile produce market is a bus that travels to many different stops in Allen County, carrying a large variety of fruits and vegetables at great prices. Now, rather than going to a convenience store, you can find a mobile produce market stop close to you. All of the fruits and vegetables available on the bus are kept cool, fresh, and ready for you to take home. Check out the schedule below:

10:15 am – 11:00 am YMCA S. Elizabeth St., Lima

11:15am-12:00pm Market Place 232 N. Cole St.

1:00pm – 1:45pm Argonne 201 N. Elizabeth
