Activated Child Care Challenge
Promoting Health and Wellness in Child Care Environments
The Activated Child Care Challenge works with child care providers in order to make their environments healthier by adopting guidelines that promote health and wellness. This challenge is powered by a collaboration between Mercy Health and Activate Allen County.
The challenge begins with an online assessment. The assessment will provide information about ways you can improvement your environment. Once your assessment/application is done, you may receive technical assistance from AAC staff to create an action plan on the applicable areas. Sustainable improvement is a required component of funded action plans. Approved projects/improvements will be funded between $500 and $1,000 to implement plans.
